May 8, 2012 · "Beautiful wave" is a charming indie film. Gorgeous scenery. Awesome journey in a vintage turquoise van. Great soundtrack. Tender storyline about a girl's facing up to her fears, finding herself, and reconnecting with her family. If you're expecting an action-packed, slick Hollywood surf film, then you might not get into it.
