Though 5 Against the House is ostensibly about four college buddies (all Korean War vets on the GI Bill, which usefully explains the ages of the actors), it's really about the relationship between just two of them: Brick (Brian Keith, who is fantastic — unpredictable, pained, and intimidatingly sexy when he needs to be) and Al (Guy Madison).

The film is presented on its own single-layer disc in the aspect ratio of 1.85:1. Indicator is using a master provided by Sony and not only is it obviously an old one it’s the weakest looking one in the set.

A year later he published The Body Snatchers (later reissued as Invasion of the Body Snatchers), a chilling tale of aliens who emerge from pods in the guise of humans whom they have taken over.
