Bruno Bauer (né à Eisenberg le 6 septembre 1809, mort à Rixdorf le 13 avril 1882) est un théologien, philosophe et historien allemand. Promoteur de la critique radicale de la Bible, il est un partisan de la thèse mythiste concernant Jésus.

He became influenced by the philosophy of Hegel while a student in Berlin, and because of radical criticism of the New Testament expressed in numerous works, was dismissed from his post as lecturer at Bonn in 1842.
