For 12 years, Rhett frequented campus, met generations of students and became a living symbol of the University’s spirit and community. Now, six months later, a new puppy is taking Rhett’s place.

He’s been BU’s mascot for more than 100 years. Everybody loves him. They take selfies with him, high-five him on the sidewalk, and sit next to his statue near the BU Beach.
