NOAH is a web portal that provides comprehensive information on natural hazards in the Philippines, such as floods, landslides, and storm surges. It aims to help the public and the authorities prepare for and mitigate the impacts of disasters. NOAH also offers tools and data for researchers and policy makers to conduct more detailed assessments of hazards and risks.
There are four hazard levels in the Philippines: low, medium, high, and very high. Each level corresponds to a certain percentage of the basic wage as hazard pay. The percentage is as follows: Low Hazard Level: 5% of the basic wage. Medium Hazard Level: 10% of the basic wage. High Hazard Level: 15% of the basic wage.
Philippines Flood Map can help to locate places at higher levels to escape from floods or in flood rescue/flood relief operation.
