I presume you are talking about contracts like ES YM ... margin requirement: say $5k * 100 = $500 K. profit / trading day : say $500 * 100 = $50K per day. perhaps you should get CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS from say CME website and. understand further about it. Feb 26, 2010 · To do better than our traders above, one could try for a better price (closer to the middle of bid/ask) and try to get a better commision rate (such as $1/contract). Even with these two improvements, our random buy or sell option strategy still has a negative expected value, just less negative than our traders above.

Apr 21, 2010 · You need $100,000 to get Portfolio Margin account. It will mostly affect your margins for OCC options, US stocks, and ONE futures. SPAN will work for any account for products that are margined by SPAN. For example, for all GLOBEX futures and options. #4 Apr 21, 2010.
Nov 6, 2023 · Just updating this Thread. Someone on another Forum said they caught a glimpse of Al's trading account in his Chatroom and it was only a million dollars. Sorry Al, that's no where near 750 million. I'm still skeptical. No clue how much the guy has. But his claimed NET worth is $750 mil, not liquid...
May 31, 2007 · watch his interview on google video - hmmm.. it's incredible what a pool boy can do with $10k. He's basically following the CANSLIM approach from William O'Neil. Based on the google video I wouldn't give him any money but he did turn 10k to 14 million. #7 May 31, 2007.
