Mar 8, 2010 · They currently show the CWC-9 kit for $199. I've emailed them to ask about current (NC2) non-Bose applications. I'm confused because the description says "Includes: 2 - 8” door replacement speakers with water shields, 2 tweeters, and 2 crossovers. Available now, the 8” replacement solution for Miata Stereo Systems in cars from 2006 to 2008 ."
Mar 8, 2010 · Get Max5's. The door speakers are awfully expensive @ $220/pair. True, they drop in, but with a sensitivity of only 89, you may want an amp to drive them, even with an aftermarket headunit. $120 for a set of 4 headrest speakers including the harness isn't that bad of a deal, though I haven't heard them.
Mar 8, 2010 · The headrest speaker wiring harnesses that come with the Clearwater headrest speakers are a serious advantage for some. They correctly wire most NA Miatas, and can often be used to plug-in replace the existing mis-wired headrest speaker wiring most all standard audio NA Miatas have.
