Parking is limited to 8 spots and the surrounding streets are narrow so there are very limited local parking options. You either need to hope to luck or plan a bit of a walk to get to the site.

Added by The Outbound Collective. Sunset Rock via Bluff Trail is an out-and-back trail that takes you through a nice forest located near Lookout Mountain, Tennessee.
1.45 mi. Turn Left, Then Left Pass under Sunset Rock then shortly after turn left onto the signed trail. After some steps, turn left at the unsigned intersection to head back to Sunset Rock. Right leads toward some houses. 1.55 mi. Sunset Rock Pass a couple good views before arriving at the expansive view of Sunset Rock.
Mar 1, 2019 · Such a beautiful place to view Chattanooga from Lookout Mountain! Parking is free, but the lot has limited spots (about 8 spots). You enter through a gate and follow the stone pathway to Sunset Rock- about 15 min walk. One of the best stops during our trip!
