It would be so satisfying to report that the result, "I Woke Up Early the Day I Died," was a delight, an instant cult classic, a masterpiece of camp. But it isn't. It's sad and misguided and boring. Pretending to make a pathetically amateurish movie isn't nearly as effective as accidentally making one because you don't know any better.
