In geometry, a generalized polygon can be called a polygram, and named specifically by its number of sides. All polygons are polygrams, but they can also include disconnected sets of edges, called a compound polygon.
PolyGram N.V. was a multinational entertainment company and major music record label formerly based in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1962 as the Grammophon-Philips Group by Dutch corporation Philips and German corporation Siemens, to be a holding for their record companies, and was renamed "PolyGram" in 1972.

5 days ago · Lachlan (1893) defines polygram to be a figure consisting of straight lines. The best-known polygrams are the pentagram and hexagram (a.k.a. Star of David). The following table summarizes some named polygrams.
In Euclidean geometry, a regular polygon is a polygon that is direct equiangular (all angles are equal in measure) and equilateral (all sides have the same length). Regular polygons may be either convex, star or skew.
Built on the foundation of the world’s most comprehensive and storied music catalog, Polygram Entertainment develops, produces, and finances music-driven content that inspires and engages fans of all ages around the world.
Polygrams. A polygram is like a polygon but the sides are allowed to cross. A polygram of n-sides or vertices is called an n-gram and for particular values of n we can give them individual names as for polygons.
A Polygon is a closed figure made up of line segments (not curves) in a two-dimensional plane. Polygon is the combination of two words, i.e. poly (means many) and gon (means sides). A minimum of three line segments is required to connect end to end, to make a closed figure.
If we accept any kind of above and below passages, we obtain all the possible knots and links. Indeed, all knots or links have a projection that is a polygram. Here are the first examples of toric polygrams, along with the corresponding toric knots: pentagram {5/2}, or pentacle. prime knot 5 1. hexagram {6/2},
Lecture 1: Polygons and Polygrams. In the rst week lecture we discuss a topic which has cultural historical and artistic connections. The topic illustrates an amazing unity of mathematics.

5 days ago · The most familiar type of polygon is the regular polygon, which is a convex polygon with equal sides lengths and angles. The generalization of a polygon into three dimensions is called a polyhedron, into four dimensions is called a polychoron , and into dimensions is called a polytope .
