Cook, Barry After coming to Disney in 1981 as an effects animator on Tron, he continued working on effects for the animated features. He directed the shorts Off His Rockers and Trail Mix-Up , and the feature, Mulan , with Tony Bancroft.
In 1998 Bancroft received the Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Directing, along with co-director Barry Cook for Mulan. Cook and Tony Bancroft directed Mulan, for which they won the 1998 Annie Award for Best Animated Feature. Cook was also the co-director for Arthur Christmas, directed by Sarah Smith.
