Riley's composition is performed with verve and virtuosity by Gregor Schwellenbach, and he was accompanied by Erol Sara, Daniel Brandt, Paul Frick, John Kameel Farah, and Hauschka for the Six Pianos by Reich. Terry Riley was 80 in 2015 and Steve Reich reached this milestone in 2016, so it is a fitting tribute to have both these early works on a CD
