COMMUNITY CENTERS. The Houston Parks and Recreation Department operates a number of recreational facilities across the city. Community Center Operations directs the programs and facility operations for 60 Houston area community centers and the department’s 5 Fitness Centers and 14 weight rooms.
Reservation Fees (Four-hour minimum required at all facilities) Standard and smaller-sized facilities rent for $150 for four hours, plus $25 for each additional hours. This covers the cost of one JaxParks staff member and clean-up. Larger facilities rent for $300 for four hours, plus $50 for each additional hours.
