The Water Diviner is vivid, flawed, tenacious and, at times, ridiculous. It proves just how watchable Russell Crowe is. The opening scenes prepare us for an examination of the residual impacts of war and its senselessness, but soon it turns into Russell Crowe the Cowboy.
