The River Why is a really boring and mediocre coming of age romantic drama about a guy who fishes. He meets a perfect girl and they have a perfect romance. There's no real conflict and the film is so heavy on shallow philosophical voiceovers that I came really close to turning it off even after I'd completed about two thirds of it.
