On February 15, Jagiello was baptized and received the Christian name of Ladislas; on February 18, Jadwiga's 12th birthday, they were married; on March 4, 1386, he was crowned Ladislas II, king of Poland, and, as Jadwiga had done, the following day he received the homage of the burghers in the city of Cracow.

Korona królów (The Crown of the Kings) is a Polish historical soap opera.Aired from January 1, 2018, on TVP1.The show is a biographical story about the reign of: King Casimir III the Great (seasons 1–2), Queen Jadwiga and King Władysław II Jagiełło as co-rulers (season 3), and then Jagiełło as the sole ruler (seasons 4–5) of the Kingdom of Poland. In the 1920s, Polish-Jewish artist and activist Arthur Szyk (1894–1951) illuminated the Statute of Kalisz in a cycle of 45 watercolor and gouache miniature paintings. [7] In addition to the original Latin, Szyk translated the text of the Statute into Polish, Hebrew, Yiddish, Italian, German, English, and Spanish. [8]
Elizabeth Granowska or Elisabeth Pilecki (Polish: Elżbieta Granowska z Pileckich / Elżbieta z Pilczy; c. 1372 – 12 May 1420 in Kraków) was Queen consort of Poland (1417–1420) as the third wife of Władysław II Jagiełło (Jogaila), Grand Duke of Lithuania and King of Poland (reigning from 1386 to 1434).
