Jan 1, 2002 · Having recently read Beach House for Rent (#4), I found I wanted to read more of Mary Alice Monroe. This is the first book in her Beach House series. It was originally published in 2006. The other two books in the series are Swimming Lessons (#2) and Beach House Memories (#3).

The near end of the book is presented first, and then the reader is transported back to fill in the gaps. At times gut-wrenching, the story twisted and turned unexpectedly. I've read many of Mary Alice Monroe's books, and this is by far my favorite.
