Welcome. As Principal, I am extremely proud of the many things that combine to make Cowes Enterprise College such a special place. Our motto, ‘Educate for Life’, encapsulates our vision; education prepares us not simply for exams but for life itself and all it presents to us.
Cowes Enterprise College was awarded the prestigious Maritime UK Award for Future Skills. This is in recognition of the academy’s work embedding maritime learning into the curriculum. We are delighted to have been invited to share our Maritime Futures work more widely by the Careers and Enterprise Company.
Educating for life is what Cowes Enterprise College is about: developing a love of learning and preparing students for life itself and all it presents to us. Our aim is for students to fulfil their limitless potential – through perseverance and effort. We don’t select our students, but we do select our staff.
Students at Cowes Enterprise College made progress above national in both English (+0.19) and Maths (+0.35). 50% of our students achieved a grade 5 or above in both English and Maths. 72% of our students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and Maths.
At Cowes Enterprise College we offer a wide range of facilities available for hire for evenings and weekends. Full size 3G pitch; Grass pitches; Main Building Sports Hall; Other facilities are available on request.
