Legendary performer Frank Sinatra had his share of tumultuous affairs, but it was his well-publicized love for MGM’s mercurial, sultry screen siren, Ava Garner in the 1950’s that had the tabloids abuzz for one of Hollywood’s most infamous affairs.
Cast is terrible, acting is worse. Somehow manages to both capture the 50's and at the same time look like a low budget production. Eric Roberts adds his usual cheese performance to the movie and the writing is God awful, often repeating the same lines over and over. Don't bother. 4 out of 7 found this helpful.
Nov 11, 2023 · It didn't have famous actors, but they were believable, and depicted Frank & Ava, to me much more realistic. I have read Avas auto bio book many yrs ago, and this showed the raw emotion and human relationship, as the book did. Its a good Movie If you are a Frank & Ava Fan. I'm a big fan of their movies and saw Sinatra 3 times in live concert.
