Select the British pound symbol from the character list. It looks similar to a lower case "F": £. Click "Insert" and the symbol will be inserted into the document. Place your cursor where you want the symbol to be in a document. Press the "Option" key. Press the number "3" key while holding down the "Option" key. TIP.
Dec 17, 2018 · I'd prefer to simply add this one keystroke while leaving the rest of the keyboard in it's default state. There MUST be a way now, though. Sep 6, 2023 · To type a Euro ( €) sign on Mac keyboard, press and hold the following keys for your respective keyboards: On UK keyboard: Alt/Option ⌥ + Shift ⇧ + 2. On US keyboard: Alt/Option ⌥ + 2. The € should now appear on your Mac. Make sure you’re using a keyboard layout that includes the Euro symbol to type Euro sign on Mac.
