When she was fourteen Geneva was hired to be in the Follies too. Florenz Ziegfeld said she was "the find" of the season.
The story focuses on three showbiz hopefuls-Judy Garland, Hedy Lamarr and Lana Turner-and the efforts to attain the lofty status of "Ziegfeld Girl."
