That requires talking. No. I think it's an awful first date. The only upside to it is that it gives you a topic to talk about after the movie, but the cost of that is that you have to spend two hours with someone you might not vibe with, while distracted and mostly unable to speak with them.
There’s good stuff too, but a lot of interpretational stuff that made me uncomfortable too. Honestly my favorite Bible movie is probably The Prince of Egypt. The deviations from scripture are easier to explain, a lot of the heart of the story is there quite powerfully, and it’s just a fantastic piece of art.
