The Least Developed Countries Fund (LDCF) was established under decision 7/CP.7 to support the implementation of the LDC work programme. To access funding from the LDCF LDCs must be a Party to the Convention. The LDCF is operated by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) which was entrusted with this by decision 8/CP.8.
