Marvin Daniel Levy (/ ˈ l iː v iː /; born August 3, 1925) [1] is an American former football coach and executive who was a head coach in the National Football League (NFL) for seventeen seasons. He spent most of his head coaching career with the Buffalo Bills , leading them from 1986 to 1997.

Aug 6, 2023 · Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy celebrated his 98th birthday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame last week. Levy, who turned 98 on Thursday, was in Canton for the weekend’s festivities honoring the Class of 2023.
Levy, the winningest coach in Bills’ history, recorded a 112-70 regular season record and was 11-8 in the playoffs during his 11 1/2 seasons with the Bills. He was named NFL Coach of the Year in 1988 and AFC Coach of the Year in 1988, 1993, and 1995.
Marv Levy, who served as head coach for both the Chiefs and the Bills, celebrated his 99th birthday on Aug. 3. Levy became Kansas City’s head coach in 1978.
