May 20, 1998 · Of the increasing number of movies on the aging process and those purported “golden years,” the play on words, almost eponymous “On Golden Pond,” is one of my favorites. I first saw it not long after it was released in 1981. On the recent reviewing, I found myself literally LOL, laughing out loud, something I rarely do with a movie.
