Victor is a cool late 2000s horror icon that often gets overlooked. As someone else said, Hatchet doesn't offer a lot new to the series but it's fun anyways. Everyone looks like they're having a lot of fun making the movies. The first two are awesome. 3 and 4 still have top-notch gore, but aren’t that great overall.
