Scott Bakula is an American actor, known for his role as Sam Beckett in the television series Quantum Leap, for which he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama in 1991 and was nominated for four Emmy Awards. He also had a prominent role as Captain Jonathan Archer in Star Trek: Enterprise.
The original show starred Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell. Bellisario revived the show in 2022, setting it 30 years after the end of the original series. The series ran for two seasons (31 episodes in total) on NBC, and we are sad to report that the series has now been canceled after two seasons on NBC.
