EdTV was a thoroughly enjoyable film. Although similar to The Truman Show in that a person's life is filmed, it differs in that Ed (Matthew McConaughey) "knowing- ly" agrees to have his life filmed by a tabloid TV show. The film shows the resulting changes in character and relationships due to this new found fame.
