Die Handlung ließ mit dem Tod von Wolfgang Rademann immer mehr nach. Mittlerweile ist sie nur noch mehr als flach. Bereits nach dem Ausstieg vom einzig wahren Traumschiffkapitän Siegfried Rauch war das Traumschiff nicht mehr das, was es einmal war. Sascha Hehn stieg in große Fußstapfen aber als Kapitän machte er ein ganz gute Figur.
