"Burn after Reading" is a satirical thriller by critically acclaimed writer-directors, Joel and Ethan Coen. Their movies are commonly known for going a thin line between comedy and serious movies.
The reviews have been mixed, and I'm not at all surprised. BURN AFTER READING won't be everybody's cup of Gatorade, but if you're one of the many naysayers who claim to find the film a major letdown after last year's officially designated Best Pic NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, well, let me just say, I do understand your point.
