And are usually FOR Dresden Files, so yes, might be "distracting" him from the main stories but he's not going to forget Dresden. I also point you to Codex Alera, a book series he did finish while writing Dresden Files.

  7. I think the first book feels completely different from the others. Like someone else wrote it based on Jim's notes or something. There's so much description and unexplained references that it was honestly hard to get through for me, but that may have been due to the shock of it not being Dresden Files. By book two, the writing feels more natural.
