CCC is just for practice. And if you view it from that standpoint you'll be much happier. It's the only platform which 'isn't the real world'. But if you view it from the standpoint of practice and learning, you'll find it far more helpful. It's the only platform where you can hear the auditions of the people who audition.
Listen to the auditions. In my experience, 90% of the auditions on CCC aren’t even remotely contenders. No offense to beginners, but the vast majority of the auditions are from A) people with unusable audio and/or B) people who don’t realize they’re a terrible fit for the role.
