May 21, 2013 · Released 29 years ago today, “Dirty” sounds to me like a weaker version of “Goo”, the band’s previous effort. But with that said - I still like it. With this record, Sonic Youth continues its trajectory into more accessible territory with pleasing results and what I think are two of their best songs.
