Sep 14, 2020 · When I start the download, I am offered to open it with a bit torrent app or to save it. Usually when I click to download a .deb file, I am offered to open it with software installer. So I presumed this is a torrent file. Not so. When I try to open it with bit torrent, I get the following message attached hereto.
May 9, 2008 · It also takes a ridiculously long time to make the .torrent file, not sure why it's started doing this, so if anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful. The reason I suspect it's not strictly utorrent related is that I've tried maketorrent2 as well, and have the same problems.

Oct 5, 2015 · Also what it sounds like more your getting bad torrents links or fake torrents and then blaming utorrent for the problem. Why don't you contact the torrent creator and ask them what is going on with their torrent file-but I already know you will never do that because it most likely isn't a legit torrent aka Open Office torrent.
Oct 18, 2017 · Both length and indicate that you are dealing with binary data. You do not specify error, neither source code you are using, but you are using wrong character encoding. So check character encoding of encoded torrent file data and make sure to use same encoding in your Bencode constructor. Thanks for your answer.
