The power of fear is represented by yellow light and is considered to be a weakness of the Green Lantern ring. Unfortunately, because of their size, a mere four members, their primary function, currently, is to protect the Blue Lantern Battery because its ability to provide immense power is incredibly valuable. The blue energy is the opposite of the yellow energy of fear. The indigo portion of the spectrum is compassion.
