In FY 2019-2020, Operation School Bell purchased new clothing and school uniform shirts for 14.798 Washoe County School District students. In partnership with both Target and Walmart stores, students and their parents were able to shop and have their school purchases paid for by the Assistance League.
The Second Hand Uniform Shop stocks good quality pre-loved Bell PS branded uniforms. This includes long and short sleeve polo tops, school jackets and windcheaters. A limited stock of Bell PS branded school bags are also available. Unbranded clothes include blue gingham school dresses, navy skirts and pinafores, navy tracksuit pants and trousers.
Operation School Bell is the Assistance League of Santa Ana’s signature program. We have been providing new school uniforms to underserved children in the Santa Ana Unified School District for over 45 years. We work directly with the schools, school nurses, teachers, and counselors to identify children in need.
