Absolutely. 1st season is pretty childish and slow at times but picks up in the 2nd. 3rd and 4th are some of the best star wars to watch if you like the rebellion/empire era. Also if you liked the characters from the clone wars you'll definitely wanna watch it. Reply.
But seriously, even the original Star Wars movies have their moments of being childish. This is a franchise for all ages, and with that said, Rebels is a terrific, fun, and light-hearted show that has the excellent story-telling of the films condensed into 22 minute episodes. I'd definitely recommend it.
Rebels has, in my opinion, the best sendoff for a main character in the whole Star Wars universe. There will be slow episodes, there will be characters that are at times annoyingly kiddish, and there may even be some groans, but the final few episodes are truly unforgettable and easily make the whole series worth it.
Know that Rebels is above all a kids' show, and that often becomes very apparent while watching it. Clone Wars was a kids show too, but was generally aimed at a slightly more mature audience then Rebels is. On the whole, if you're watching it for any lore it might contribute to the overall story of Star Wars it doesn't actually offer a great deal.
