The church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in the center of town is a splendid Rococo building put up between 1735-1740. Its spire can be seen from most vantage points and is part of the charm of Oberammergau. The interior is quite small and when dark, you can put a coin into a small machine to illuminate the church.
