It was opened July 27, 1949 with Bud Abbott & Lou Costello in “Pardon My Sarong” and was operated by Mid-Central Ct. Today, an industrial park has taken over the property and erased all traces of the drive-in.

The Miller Theater opened on May 1, 1926. The opening movie was “Paris at Midnight” with Lionel Barrymore. On August 26, 1930 it was renamed Varsity Theater, and on February 25, 1936 under new owners was renamed Sonsa Theater. On May 23, 1951 it became the Campus Theater. In the late-1990’s the Campus Theater was purchased by Carmike.
