Skageflå and the other mountain farms in the area are privately owned. Be carefull and show respect when visiting. You are not allowed to camp on the inner field at the farm ( grassland around the houses), neither with a tent or a hammock, without having a permit from a landowner. There is toilet on Skageflå, but not toilet paper.
From Skageflå you hike along a small path that winds up a cliff 250 meters above the fjord to the historic farm Homlongsætra. The climb to Homlongsætra is quite steep in places, but the path is secured with ropes in the most important places, so it is safe and suitable for children.
