A quick background: I am an alumna of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority from the University of Texas at Austin. Technically, the sorority is called Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, Alpha Phi Chapter. I know, very confusing. I was an active member from 2011 to 2015 when I graduated, and then I achieved almuna status.
Alpha Upsilon's celebration is May 17-18, 2024. There will be decade reunions on Friday night with ceremony on Saturday and band party on Saturday night. Kappa Alpha Theta: Theta only receives letters of recommendation from alumni of theta, but they can write it for anyone (they do not have to be legacies). Kappa Delta: You have to be a kappa delta to submit a recommendation but it does not necessarily have to be a legacy relationship! It’s done through the Kappa Delta website

An Alpha Chi Omega Alumni can visit the Lyre Links website and fill out the form provided under the tab for Recommendations. If you desire to send an additional hard copy recommendation letter, on top of the required online recommendation form, you can address it to: 2420 Nueces Street. Austin, Texas 78705.
Alpha Chi Omega Legacy and Letter of Recommendation Policy: The Alpha Chi Omega member and her family define their legacy relationship, i.e. step relations, blended families, etc. Beginning in fall 2021, Alpha Chi Omega chapters will no longer provide preferential treatment to legacies or any other potential new members in the recruitment process.
