Aug 24, 1990 · Darkman is a pretty original hero, Liam Neeson makes for a great Jekyll and Hyde-type, and the action is ridiculous and entertaining. Frances McDormand is criminally underused as a forgettable damsel in distress, though. Typically cartoony Raimi, with a ridiculous plot, flashy directing and OTT performances.
