Background and production [ edit ] Vocalist Ben Barlow met lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts when Barlow's older brother, Seb, was recording the Wrexham hardcore band Spires that Roberts played in. [1] At the time, Ben Barlow wrote pop punk songs on his own for fun. [1]
