In the year 1989, Rita Lakin co-created Nightingales, a medical drama. Rita Lakin also co-authored two theatrical plays, Saturday Night at Grossinger’s and No Language but a Cry. May 10, 2017 · I’ve written about Rita Lakin before (back in March of 2015), and I have to say that what I said then still applies upon me re-reading this first book of the series. The relationship between Gladdy and her friends really makes the book enjoyable. Rita Lakin has a background in TV as a writer, creator and producer.
Rita Lakin began her career as a novelist in 1974 with the novel A Summer Without Boys. Following her novel Demon of the Night in 1976, she would not have another novel published until 2005 with her first Gladdy Gold novel, Getting Old is Murder.
