Beginning with the prison boxing movie Undisputed in 2002, the idea that there was even a follow-up in the works at all was rather unexpected, the film having largely evaporated from the public consciousness.
A younger Scott Adkins found his ideal role in Yuri Boyka (much like Stallone found Rocky) and gave new life to UNDISPUTED in two back-to-back segments. 3. At that point, things get a little murky. For reasons that are not entirely clear to this reviewer, there was a long gap between the last instalment and this one.
