Sep 3, 2013 · Being a fan of The Office many years, Season 8 was a bit of a let down. The slow story and character development made for a somewhat bland season with nothing gained, nothing lost. Season 9 changes all of that. The writers did a wonderful job of moving the characters forward and wrapping up all the lose ends.
