Jul 7, 2019 · The Notre-Dame du St Cordon Basilica, built in 1864, took its name in homage to a Valenciennes patroness who lived in the 11th century. The temple is an example of Neo-Gothic style. Unfortunately for me, it was closed to public due to a restoration process; it was surrounded by a fence, and covered by scaffolding and nets at some points.
