  7. Jan 12, 2010 · On the other hand, Keven Spacey is PERFECT as playing Darin and thus the 5 star rating. Spacey's personal fondness for Darin comes across in the movie and he does BD justice. Spacey does HIS OWN singing/dancing in the film! He captures the essence of Darin extremely well, as does the movie capture the feel of the '50s/early '60s night club era.
