Case Search. How do I enter my Case Number? Enter at least the index number and year to find results, or select case type and court type for an exact match. If you don't know the format of the case number you are trying to search, you can enter the case number separately from the year. The year is optional.
The Surrogate's Court of the State of New York handles all probate and estate proceedings in the New York State Unified Court System. All wills are probated in this court and all estates of people who die without a will are handled in this court.
