Most popup and redirect advertisements originate from the Video servers instead of 9Anime, as a result the 9Anime team is unable to remove or modify said advertisements as much as they wish they could. The only solution is to use an adblocker, preferably one that has been configured to not entirely break the site itself.

Use an adblocker. Use 2 if needed. It is safe to watch as long as you don't download anything from those redirect sites. It could that is trying to direct you to the .center domain, it's been doing it off and on for a while and a fair few browsers/antivirus will flag anything with that domain.
